Best girl slap shot vs. worst guy slap shot?
My bf thinks even the best women’s slapshot is slower than the worst NHL’s slap shot. I don’t agree. What do you think? Does someone have the stats? Easy to find the fastest men’s but slowest men’s or fastest women’s, I can’t find.
i would say the man playing in the NHL….i have no clue how you would even be able to see who was?

The worst guy slap shot is technically were the guy fans on the puck, so I would say best womens slapshot wins.

tell your boyfriend to watch some womens Olympic hockey. I’ve played against some good girl hockey players. I’ve faced some good hard slapshots from girls but they werent as hard as most of the guys, but defenatly better than Aki Berg who was infact an nhl player… for a brief period of time

here’s the thing. Women can have some rockets of slapshots. i know a girl who played aaa boys hockey till midget, and shot like a dude. But the truth is that the physical strength in women cannot ever compare to a man. now the worst nhl shot is probably a fan on the shot, therefor you cannot compare it to anbody’s shot. therefor i agree with your bf

Your boyfriend is right.
If there were any girls that could even amount to one NHL player’s slapshot, then there would have been at least more than 1 girl to have made it into the NHL. There has only been 1, and it was a Goalie. And she only played half of 1 pre-season game.

The hardest woman’s slapshot was Angela James who in the 80s shot a puck at 83mph……………at last year’s individual team skill’s competitions, the ’slowest’ slap shot was 87mph (and that particular player has recorded shots over 100mph before so it would most likely be a mishit at 87)
