IMDB rating: 3.50

Plot: After being accused of crimes he did not commit, a lonely circus performer exacts his revenge on those who unjustly condemned him. The act sparks something inside of him which he cannot stop and now, years later, his inner-demons have truly surfaced. Part urban legend, part tabloid sensationalism… he is now an unstoppable murderous juggernaut, fueled only by hate.

Your Predictions for the 2010 Academy Award Winners?
Here are mine….These are the one’s who I think should win…but i already know that some of the probably won’t. These are simply the one’s I believe should win.

Actor in Leading Role: Jeremy Renner "The Hurt Locker" (Only because Tom Hardy was not nominated which is an absolute let down…Tom Hardy in Bronson is 2009’s best performance hands down. Sam Rockwell and Tom Hardy should’ve been nominated and replace George Clooney and Morgan Freeman. I also hope Will Smith for Seven pounds was in contention…movie was OK but Will Smith was amazing)

Actor in Supporting Role: Christopher Waltz "Inglourious Basterds"
Actress in a Leading Role: Carey Mulligan "An Education"
Actress in a Supporting Role: Mo’Nique "Precious"
Animated Feature Film: "Up"
Art Direction: "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus"
Cinematography: "The White Ribbon"
Costume Design: "The Imaginarium of Doctor Panassus"
Directing: Quentin Tarantino "Inglourious Basterds"
Documentary (Feature): "The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers"
Documentary (Short Subject): "China’s Unnatural Disaster: The Tears of Sichuan Province"
Film Editing: "The Hurt Locker"
Foreign Language Film: "The White Ribbon"
Makeup: "The Young Victoria"
Music (Original Score): "Up"
Music (Original Song): The Weary Kind (Theme from Crazy Heart) "Crazy Heart"
Best Picture: "The Hurt Locker" (Inglourious Basterds, Up, Precious, District 9 are right below my choice…I just believe The Hurt Locker was the better film. If Avatar wins this award…I’m giving up my dream of joining the film industry. Avatar was awesome, but it’s screenplay and story is what lost it for me)
Short Film (Animated): "French Roast"
Short Film (Live Action): "The Door"
Sound Editing: "The Hurt Locker" and "Inglourious Basterds" (Can’t Decide)
Sound Mixing: "Star Trek"
Visual Effects: "Avatar"
Writing (Adapted Screenplay): "District 9"
Writing (Original Screenplay): "The Hurt Locker"

Those are them. I already know its NOT 100% right, so please don’t bash me from left and right about the fact that I picked AVATAR for only one of them.

So What are Your Predictions?

unfortunately, avatar is avatar, so it will take over.

I think "Up In the Air" is going to clean up. It’s the only "conventional" Oscar movie with a large number of nominations.
